Creativity never sleeps - starting his career in the world of Fashion & Lifestyle 10 years ago, PHILIPP PLEIN Home Collection has successfully expanded through the years to PHILIPP PLEIN Garden-, Light- , Kitchen- and Home Accessories Collection.This year the company will strike a new path and set standards in the design world. With architecture by Mauritz Design, based in Munich and interior design by PHILIPP PLEIN Switzerland a new company division is born. PHILIPP PLEIN INTERIOR will offer expertise in designing private apartments, mansions and hotel suites. The portfolio includes conceptual design for interiour fitting and decoration. The design is characterized by extraordinary furniture, noble materials, vibrant tones and sharp finish. PHILIPP PLEIN loves to combine contrasts. Recently the designer produced mirrors with antique baroque frames, to add the specific PHILIPP PLEIN seal, little skulls that can only be seen at the second view were carved by hand into the pattern. Every product is designed with quality in mind. He has developed a special method to cover furniture with different leather skins. Depending on the special wish of the customer the furniture as well as walls and other decors can be covered with different kinds of leather. Customers are encouraged to take their time in selecting colours and textures. All of the leather skins are thoroughly examined by hand to find only the most choiced segments. Company claim is that the human hand should never be replaced by machines, therefore all of the Home Collection products are the result of long hours and patient hand work - all made in Germany in the companies own factury near Magdeburg. As a result impeccable quality is passed on to the customer.
